Terms of Service

Welcome to Science for People. These "Omnibus" Terms are divided into binding Service Schedules. By accessing our platform, you agree to comply with this legal framework.

Schedule A: General Terms

1. Eligibility & Age Restriction

The Services are intended only for access and use by individuals at least 18 years old. By accessing or using the Services, you warrant and represent that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the full legal authority, right, and capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Account Security

You are solely responsible for safeguarding the credentials you use to access the Service. Any activity—whether authorized by you or not—occurring under your account is your legal responsibility. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

3. Payments, Credits, and Subscriptions

3.1 Expiration of Credits: Purchased Credits (used for Consultations, Mentoring, or advanced AI Actions) expire strictly 12 months from the date of purchase, unless required otherwise by applicable mandatory consumer law.

3.2 Non-Refundable Policy: Once an AI Action is invoked, or a Credit is successfully redeemed for a booking, the transaction is strictly final and non-refundable.

3.3 Subscriptions: Recurring subscription billing continues automatically until explicitly cancelled by you. No pro-rated refunds are provided for partial billing periods if you cancel mid-cycle.

3.4 Vouchers: Promotional or gifted vouchers hold no cash value and cannot be exchanged for currency. They are subject to the specific expiration dates provided at issuance.

Schedule B: AI Services Context

1. Hallucination & Accuracy Disclaimer

WARNING: All AI outputs provided on this platform are probabilistic and generated by large language models. The Company operates a "best effort" service and explicitly does NOT guarantee the accuracy, completeness, factual correctness, or reliability of any AI-generated output. You explicitly agree NOT to use AI-generated advice for making consequential legal, medical, life-safety, or financial decisions without prior verification by a licensed human professional.

2. Input Confidentiality & Prohibited Uses

While we employ strict industry-standard API security measures and execute Data Processing Agreements with our LLM providers, you agree NOT to input the following into our prompt interfaces:

  • Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of unconsenting third parties.
  • Highly sensitive proprietary Trade Secrets or confidential source code belonging to an employer without authorization.
  • Content intended to generate malware, hate speech, or deceptive material (e.g., deepfakes, phishing templates).

3. Intellectual Property Ownership

You are exclusively responsible for ensuring your inputs do not violate third-party intellectual property rights. We claim no ownership over the raw generated outputs you receive. However, given the nature of generative AI, we make no warranty or representation that outputs generated for you will be unique; identical inputs by other users may yield identical outputs.

Schedule C: Professional Services

1. Strict No-Show Policy

Time is our most valuable asset. If you are more than 10 minutes late to a scheduled video call, the session is officially classified as "Abandoned" and your Credit is fully forfeited. No refunds or partial reimbursements will be issued for abandoned sessions.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Greater than 24 Hours Notice: You may freely reschedule or cancel your session through the dashboard, resulting in a full immediate refund of the associated Credit back to your account balance.
  • Less than 24 Hours Notice: Cancellations or rescheduled requests made within 24 hours of the allotted time slot result in irreversible Credit forfeiture.

3. Nature of Advice ("Safe Harbor")

All 1:1 Mentoring and Consultations are delivered strictly for educational, technical, and career guidance purposes. The Company and its operating Mentors explicitly do not guarantee specific outcomes (e.g., getting hired, increasing corporate revenue, passing a certification exam). You remain solely responsible for the implementation of any advice and your resulting business or career decisions.

4. Zero Tolerance for Abuse

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment, verbal abuse, or inappropriate behavior towards our Mentors. The Company reserves the unilateral right to terminate the consultation immediately, ban the offending User account, and forfeit any remaining Credits without refund should this policy be violated.

Schedule D: Liability & Governance

1. Limitation of Liability ("The Firewall")

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, s4p OÜ's total cumulative liability for any and all claims arising out of or related to these Terms (whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, and whether stemming from AI errors, Mentor advice, or technical platform failures) shall be strictly limited to the total monetary amount you paid specifically to us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

2. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be exclusively governed by and defined in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia, disregarding its conflicts of law provisions. You explicitly agree that any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Services shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts located in Tallinn, Estonia.

3. Modifications to Terms

We inherently reserve the right, at our sole and absolute discretion, to modify, update, or entirely replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via your registered email or prominent notice on the platform. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised framework.

4. Termination & Severability

Mutual Rights: You may terminate these Terms at any time by ceasing use and cancelling your account. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain securely in effect.

5. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations hereunder where such failure results from any cause beyond the Company's reasonable control, including but not limited to mechanical, electronic or communications failure (including "line-noise" interference, cloud provider outages), acts of God, war, terrorism, malicious cyberattacks, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, or natural disasters.
